Apple has begun to warn iPhone 5 owners to upgrade to iOS 10.3.4. If users do not, they will lose access to the main features.
Alerts have begun to come in the form of full-screen alerts. Update before November 3, otherwise you won’t be able to use e-mail, browse the web, App Store and iCloud anymore. Apple explains this by resetting the GPS counters, and the exact date and time required for these features to work.
It’s worth noting that this problem doesn’t affect so many users. As of October, only 9 percent of all Apple device users with an operating system are “sitting” on versions younger than iOS 12.
